The Nagaland State Lottery began in 1972 and is managed by the state’s Finance Department. It is one of the best-known government lotteries in India, and it holds three draws every day.

- 1:00 PM – Dear Morning
- 6:00 PM – Dear Day
- 8:00 PM – Dear Evening
A ticket costs ₹6. The draws take place at P. R. Hill Junction, Kohima – 797001, under the direction of the Director of Nagaland State Lotteries.
What the money is used for
The earnings go to the state government and help fund projects such as infrastructure, education and healthcare for the people of Nagaland.
